February 14, 2012
Special Guest Dr. Jane
Dunham
Topic: Performance
Anxiety
9:00 Social, 9:30 Business, 10:00 Program
Dr. Jane Dunham has her own internal
medicine practice in Federal Way, WA. She is a graduate of
Stanford University and the University of Washington Medical School.
She is an accomplished pianist, flutist and cellist and performs often
in community orchestras and events. Most recently she was invited
to perform Barber's complete Excursions for piano as part of a special
concert at Sherman Clay featuring physicians who are also musicians.
She has performed two piano works at Benaroya Hall and is on the board
of the Tacoma Philharmonic.
Originally, she was going to speak about
the mechanics of the hand, but decided a more appropriate topic would be
Performance Anxiety, so most of the talk on 2/14 will be dedicated to
managing performance anxiety.
